Mosses Irmakesen

Maralinda Irmakesen
Maralinda (Mara) grew up in Karatu surrounded by the students enrolled in Kiretono's Residential Enrichment Program and women participants in the social impact enterprise. From a young age she began selling merchandise at markets and even translating for the women from Maasai into English. She also participated in some of the student activities like dance workshops, observing veterinary procedures and taking art classes. She has a deep connection to the organization's beneficiaries that goes beyond tribal membership. Now, a high school student in California, she volunteers on Aid Tanzania's board, and tells the story of Aid Tanzania through a dual lens when representing the organization at public facing events.

Deirdre Stanford is the Executive Director of Fourddo, a youth-powered, nonprofit amplifying causes that impact the next generation. With more than 20 years of experience in operations, storytelling, and social impact, she has built a dual career leading mission-driven organizations and advising through her consultancy practice. Deirdre specializes in designing creative campaigns, cultivating cross-sector partnerships, and building inclusive spaces that amplify voices and inspire transformative social change.
